How do I install a second Video PCI board with a PC motherboard that has a Video Built In?
I have a mother board (P6STMT) with a built in video that works just fine. I also have a PCI board (ATI ALL-IN-ONE Wonder RAGE PRO, with TV tuner that I want to use as a second video board. None of my three PCI slot are used. If I plug in the RAGE PRO board, the built-in video goes dark even on boot up. The computer appears to boot up but I can't see anything on the screen from either board. I have plugged into all three slots with the same result. My manual for the mother board does not list any jumper that will disable the on-board video (besides, I don't want that, I want to be able to switch between the two) What can I do?

When your computer is booting up it will tell you what key to hit to enter the Bios setup.You need to go in there and disable on board video.You cant run both.If you have the manual for your MB it should tell you in there how to do it.Why would you want to use the on-board if you have that video card?On board sucks compared to that.
