Kitchenaid: Artisan Mixer, Mixer Standard and Professional Series report
It is time to buy a target = "_blank"> KitchenAid mixer. It was worth the wait, but we buy? You can use the Artisan mixer, the Professional Series and the Standard Collection. Each has different characteristics depending on your personal needs and choices can be a bit overwhelming. To make the selection easier, I created a quick guide to the most popular features.
Tilt Head vs. Bowl Lift
The head tilt is what you find on traditional household mixers. The head tilts back for adding tools, then leans forward to fit inside the bowl. These mixers are usually a few pounds lighter and easier good on the counter because of the smaller height.
The bowl lift is in a more commercial. The bowl is raised high and below by a swinging arm while the head remains stationary. These normally have more power and better by making it harder for the dough.
Size
How do you intend to do in your bowl? In general, the more you pay for the console the more bread you can do. For example, the basic model costs about $ 200 and make 3 loaves of bread ¾. Compare that to Artisan Series for about $ 300 which is 4 ½ bread, while the Professional Series is 6 ¾ and bread costs about $ 400.
Color
The standard series, although less expensive, does not come in as many colors as the other two.
Both sets of Craft and Professional Series are available in a variety colors to match almost any kitchen.
Only KitchenAid Artisan is pink. A portion of the range of the series Cure pink product goes to Susan G. Foundation Komen for research on breast cancer.
