How do I connect a EWD2004 Emerson VCR / DVD player to an HDTV Vizio VO320E?
I have recently moved and the old house I had an Emerson VCR / DVD player connected to my old Philips TV. I bought a new Vizio HDTV VO320E and can not get a signal from the VCR / DVD for the new television. It worked perfectly at the old place on the TV Phillips and now, no matter how I make the connections, I do not get a signal. Am I missing something?
You should be able to do this in 2 ways. 1. Connect the VCR / DVD player to the antenna jack to the TV antenna. Start a cassette or a disk and turn the TV on channel 3. If you do not see the image, go to channel 4. It should be on one or the other. 2. Or, connect the player to the TV with composite cables (yellow-red-white). Use the remote to select Vizio this entry. On my Vizio to distance is a button near the top COMP. It may be different from yours. On some fixed (probably not Vizio), the entry is selected Correction from the menu. One of these will work for you, if it is not: both. ----------- This is the "AV" on my remote. (Audio-Video)
