How to Wall Mount a flat screen TV
Recent years have been given a massive increase in demand for TV LCD plasma which seem to be getting thinner and thinner, lighter and more powerful. There are several good reasons for a new HDTV pirchasing such as the high definition viewing more than obvious, affordable and energy savings. These newer models do thinner LCD and plasma HDTV is ideal for wall mounting. Not only is the wall mounting your TV to free up valuable floor space in your living room, but it can add an element from aesthetics to your home theater system. Here are some tips on how to successfully mount your screen.
Before you begin any of the hardware assembly, you must decide the best position to mount your television. Careful planning is necessary for the wall mount a HDTV is much a permanent solution and will be incorporated into the design of your home. You should consider setting up your furniture, the general theme of your living room, potential viewing angles and better audio positioning. Once you think you've chosen a suitable location, you should get a piece of cardboard or paper packaging and cut to the size of the TV screen. You should then bring the investment by sticking the cardboard or paper on the wall where the screen will be placed, and mark with a pencil.
Remove the bracket from the back of the screen if it is still attached, then place the TV on his face. Then you must locate the four mounting screws on the back of the TV and remove the bolts. Once this was done, you should remove the mounting arm or mounting plate of the wall mount package. To attach the mounting arm, you need to align vertically and parallel to each other using the mounting holes on the back of the television. Make sure they are in perfect alignment and then attach the arm using the screws provided and washers that should have come with the bracket. If you use a mounting plate and is relatively straightforward to align the holes with the mounting holes on television.
Locate the wall studs that are closer to the screen position required using a stud finder and mark them with a sharp pencil. Now you must remove the wall mount packaging. Align the wall mount up on poles in the center position as marked you determined earlier. It does not matter if it is not perfectly centered as the wall mounts can be adjusted horizontally at a later date.
Using a spirit level, line up the wall mount and then mark the location of where the bolts ira. Next drill holes in the amount that is about 1 cm deep. The size of the wick, you should use will be determined by the size of the bolts provided with wall mount. Bolt the bracket to the wall using bolts and washers, but do not tighten bolts completely. Adjust the position of the horizontal wall mount until you are happy with the alignment. Once you are satisfied with the positioning of the screen, you are free to tighten bolts the rest of the track.
Attatching the screen to the wall mount takes two people. Simply lift the TV and hang on wall. At this point, you will still be able to adjust the horizontal placement to position the screen perfectly. Once the desired position was granted that you must tighten the mounting arm or wall mounting plate.
