Rear Projection TV Screen Cleaning is not too difficult to accomplish. This despite the size of most rear projection televisions and correspondent Heft many of their components, the screen included. These types of televisions have evolved over the years since their introduction in the 1970s, becoming more affordable and lighter and less large and many of the current crop of TVs is actually light enough to be hung on a wall. However, there is still a certain amount bulk that must be addressed if you decide to buy one of these TVs.
In this type of TV, projector is used to make a small image from a video signal from a particular source - either from a signal TV or a DVD or other such sources - and to enlarge and project the image onto a screen. The projector is located in the TV box itself, and it projects the image on the screen behind the screen itself. This has created particular implications for how the screen itself can be cleaned.
The exterior of the screen is fairly easy to clean. Unplug your TV first for security reasons. You can simply use a cleaning cloth to remove any dust particles visible. But if you want a more thorough clean, you can buy cleaning options available in the trade.
First, there are simple microfiber cloths that can be used to clean your screen. These fabrics can be kinder to your TV as dustcloths usual, may be less likely to scratch screen, and could also have an anti-static. They have other applications beyond cleaning TVs, however, if you can to look outside your store to get a TV. Then, instead of what kind of fabric you can buy sponges which confers the same benefits. And finally, there are also particular about the jet cleaners are designed to be used in conjunction with cleaning cloths. These cleaners are very sweet and many of them have anti-bacterial. Simply spray a small amount on the screen and wipe dust and dirt. (Remember to wash your clothes after cleaning itself you're done.)
It is also possible proceed to the rear projection screen for cleaning the inside of the screen itself. You may need another person around to help this. First, be sure to unplug the TV industry. Next, get a screwdriver, remove the screws holding the screen up and put them in a safe place so you do not lose them. Then, unplug the wire that connects the screen itself for the rest of the TV, and with the help the other person, remove the screen itself. You can then clean with a cloth and cleaning solution. This procedure, however, may best left to an expert or an electrician because of the complexity.
