Compared to other cars, how are expesnive spare parts for a "92 BMW?
I was thinking of buying a '92 BMW but I keep hearing that the parts are expensive. Is this true?
Sorry Holly, but it true. No matter where or what, the majority of parts for a projector will be more expensive than 75% of other cars on the market, the same year. It not very detailed, but true. An entry for a '92 Chevy Sedan w / a 6 cyl. Engin will go for about $ 65 - $ 80, the BMW about $ 230, just made a 94 on last month for a friend. Most luxury vehicles and high performance are real expensive to buy and expensive to maintain. Insurance, maintenance, schedules, they are all on the steep side of the scale for BMW, although they are properly cared for, tend to be very reliable vehicles, which retain a high resale value. If it is too far below the Kelly Blue Book value, you're probably buying someone else problems ... and you may regret the purchase. Take the car to a specialty store or dealer for BMW onceover before deciding to spend your hard-earned money spent is worth the peace of mind.
