Panel Television
Any suggestions for a flat screen TV for a room that gets plenty of sunlight?
The location of our television will be below two large spotlights in front of a small window and perpendicular to a wall of windows. This room becomes mostly sunny in the morning, but I do not know if there were some things I should look at buying the whole. Do either plasma or LCD offers all the advantages? Any manufacturers who specialize in this area? To answer one of Respondents: solar shades are an option of "wall windows "and the window behind the scenes, but spotlights above will still Shine Down.
ru dedicated to wall mount? LCD the best solution is rear projection LCD or DLP (3-chip). you want a transmissive display, or only a portion of light through the screen. You also want the highest contrast ratio you can find or afford. think like that - you can print this out and play outside in daylight - not because it is shiny or has its own light source - but because of the contrast of black ink on white paper. If you've got money - Sony SXRD, and Bravia 3LCD are still great. buy a name you know and trust - and to buy locally so you can take it physically at the store if it fails or you're not happy.
