Samsung 1080p LED Un55B7000 55 - Grand Prix! Great TV! And on the delivery
We are usually Sony TV buyers, but were sold on the idea LED when we saw how the screen saver when viewing the part - And undistorted. Sony does not have leads, but it is still new which means still expensive. The Samsung LED 1080p 55 UN55B7000 HDTVcame a year ago so is now half what it cost last year! (Now that there is already a 8000.) Samsung LED 1080p 55 UN55B7000 HDTVis the same as the 7100-selling Buy in better with the exception of the frame or something minor. Thanks to Amazon last week, we got this for 300 dollars less than buying Local, no tax and no shipping costs - super deal, could not resist, even if it's the most expensive thing we've ever purchased Amazon.
The delivery was very good. Amazon announced that television can be at your place in three days. For us, this meant that was in our town in two days. The delivery company we did not use the credit, but do we call the day after he arrived in our city (4 days). They provided a window for the next three hours, which is very good here as it was (Got TV in five days after ordering.) Introduced TV where we wanted. Did not unpack it because it was cold? They said to wait two hours. I am not an expert so I do not know if that was true or an excuse. But they were really nice. They gave instructions on unpacking and maintenance of container in the case of a return or exchange.
Quickstart is fast! Out of the box, plug, find ways and go! Already mounted on a box. Love that image is no fine tuning. The back is designed may be a little too thin, though. Not much space for connection to a regular cable - had to tighten it into place - could not use the screw type with no space to screw it in. There's a lot more space HD connections for which we do not. Maybe when we add to Blu-ray, etc.
Viewing distance LED does not really matter the guys say local sales. We were afraid 55 would be too big for a 6-8 foot distance, but it is not.
Wii - if you do not already have one, you might need a cable HD-Wii (35 at GameStop, maybe cheaper elsewhere, there are more types of third party). The original Cable Wii has only 3 connections, you need 5. Without it, we had sound, no color and blurred images. With it, and with Wii Settings - Screen - Resolution TV set to 480p, it's perfect!

I received my Samsung UN55B7000 55 LED 1080p HDTV 1 hour ago and I'm ecstatic. $ 1,699.00 without interest for 24 MOS., Free delivery of 3 days and no tax 8 1 / 2%. Is $ 300 better then the best local Fry. and savings tax and shipping costs! Was made by Transport Pilot. They took him to my room, unpacked, he set up on my chimney and connected to the cable and electric. Took about 15 minutes. I am 70 + + years and can not lift or use my hands. The male driver, Orlando Amaya, was really nice and beyond his service.
I read the installation guide Quick and traveled time set, channel scan and started watching.
The picture is awesome! Have a well lit area cabin is beautiful and love the controls and the little mini-remote. This is a replacement for my Samsung 40 "HD, which is three years and Now for my old home office.
I watched the 8500, 8000, and the Samsung LED 1080p HDTV UN55B7000 55 side by side at Fry. I do not really see any significant difference so the 240Hz to larger males have no meaning for me. My son has the 8500 and it is a sports nut and said he can not see the difference but of course with many young eyes. Do the side of your car and see what you think for yourself. If changes or problems I will update this. For now, I am a happy camper in Houston. Go Aggies!
