Is having the contrast all the way to bad for an LCD HDTV?
I have a 19 inch Philips LCD HDTV and I went through the installation wizard and I didn't go into the settings and do a lot, but I choose any preset contrast is all the way up, is this allowed or it could be a bad thing in the future?
Your biggest problem is that you are concerned about it. After all, it's a 19 "tv. There is not much difference in quality between models and brands that size. Hope you have not paid more than 200.00 U.S. for it. Do what you want, without any regret. That's how you'll really enjoy it.
