You are better to buy Circuit City. They have a 10% discount on this camera. The one with a kit (28-135 zoom lens better than that offered 18-80 Zoom - 28 is pretty good wide angle lens then the 135 is closer than you 80) $ 1,500 - $ 1,350 = $ 150 or you get the body and buy a little more objective $ 1300 - $ 130 = $ 1,270 + $ 320 (50-250 with image stabilization (Helps prevent blurring when you do not have a steady hand or plans), you will not a wide angle which means you'll just have to save more or get a converter for it, but you have only 250 Zoom). The warranty is for 3 Mack mechanical problem, which mean that if you hit it or dropped it and stop working, it does not cover this accident. So might as well get insurance against accidents instead of the extended warranty. I recommend it if you are unsure of being able to be as conservative as you can with your camera photo. The accessories are not so great. Currently an Extreme III is on special at Circuit City - a memory card faster than they II Extreme offer. The remote, you can get a better wireless is more useful than a cord - at least you can go get in the plane and trigger control of the wireless device and further.
