LCD black screen on laptop, but the computer still works?
I have a Presario 1500. When I use it for 30 minutes or something, the movie and the screen after a few seconds it turns black. But the computer is still ongoing and I can barely see the icon the mouse and moving. I can not support the stand-by Botton and the screen will return for a few seconds and then down again. How can I fix it? The computer does not seem very hot at the rear.
I agree with testing on an external monitor, see if it works the same way. For me, it sounds like either your inverter is out or the backlight. The inverter is relatively low replacement cost of about $ 100. The backlight is very difficult to replace and can be difficult to find someone to replace him.
