Aquos Lcd
Sharp Aquos LCD TV, I need to add external speakers. Audio output is 10W x 2. What size speakers do I need?
The Aquos LCD is in our RV. The LCD speakers are small so we have trouble hearing the TV when it is set at the maximum volumn of 60. We want to add external speakers. The manual indicates the audio out is 10W x 2. We don't understand if we can use speakers rated under 10 W or if we need speakers rated at 10W.
The TV comes with front speakers which are only 2 watts. It has audio output jacks on the back for 10W x 2. We want to add external speakers with the hopes of increasing the volume where we can enjoy listening to the TV in our RV. Can we use 5W speakers or must they be 10W? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
If the TV has already 2 10W speakers and you plan to replace them with 2 10 W speakers, I don't see where the benefit will be!
I suggest you invest on a low-end amplifier or AV receiver which can actually amplify the TV audio.
